GLMPOPUP2 Report


From Friday, August 6 to Thursday, August 19, we opened a limited-time shop at Laforet Harajuku B1.5F for two weeks.
This limited-time shop was a select shop format where works from participating brands, derived from the Gothic and Lolita market in a direct sales event style, were consigned and sold.
This time, due to the Olympics, it was the first Gothic Lolita Market held in midsummer, spanning the three-day weekend and Obon period unique to this year!!
Since the event was upgraded to two weeks, the participating brands were divided into the first and second halves.
In the first half, we mainly handled cute items such as sweets style, dreamy cute, and sweet Lolita. Not only Lolita fans but also many casual fashion visitors who happened to stop by came, leading to many wonderful encounters...♡
The second half featured a slightly more mature lineup centered on classic Lolita, gothic, Japanese Lolita style, and elegant Lolita style, different from the first half!
The atmosphere of the customers who visited also changed drastically, making the shop show different faces in the first and second halves as intended by the plan.

From the second half, we uploaded photos of staff wearing coordinated outfits based on customer requests. Did the actual size feel and the way to mix brands in coordination help as a reference?

This time, there are two articles for the first and second halves!!
The first half is guided by Seina Takeuchi, and the second half by Kae Akari, each with different models wearing and introducing the wonderful works lined up in the shop, making very lovely articles♡

Now, this was the first midsummer GLM event.
The summer-like customer outfits and items perfect for summer showed a new side of the Gothic Lolita Market, making it a unique experience.
Also, since there was a period with unusually many sweet items, it became an opportunity for people who usually dress casually to get to know GML.
We hope this will spark more interest in this industry!
In the main event in September, about 200 brands and even more diverse works will be lined up. Also, the snap project will be revived, and a snap booklet will be created.
Please come dressed in your best fashion.
