2021.09.26 16:28

Saturday, September 18, 2021

We held the 5th Gothic and Lolita Market at Harajuku Quest Hall.

(Click here for the electronic brochure)

This time, due to the impact of the typhoon, some distant brands could not participate due to transportation disruptions...

Event staff and friends made teru teru bozu (weather charms) and prayed for the rain to lessen even a little.

On the exciting day, it was heavy rain from the morning...!

However, perhaps because everyone's wishes were heard, the rain eased somewhat during the event hours, and it was bustling with many visitors.

This time at the Gothic and Lolita Market, there were consignment sales booths by La Vie de Luxe, direct sales booths, and additionally, the coordination snap photo booth, which returned since the third event!!

The brands exhibiting at the consignment booth had this lineup!

A wonderful space packed with works from distant creators and brands that found it difficult to be present at the store on the day...♡

Also, for those who could not attend the event this time or regret not purchasing a piece on the day, you can buy them at La Vie de Luxe's store inside Kichijoji Parco!

The follow-up exhibition after the Gothic and Lolita Market, "La lettre d'Avis de Raoul, Arsène et LUPIN III," is being held until September 30, so please come visit.

〈Direct Sales Booth〉

Classical, Gothic, Sweet Lolita, Japanese style... etc. Various genres of Gothic and Lolita brands gathered again this time.

Exhibitors ranged from brands that have attended every Gothic and Lolita Market to those exhibiting for the first time!

Nowadays, opportunities to talk with creators have decreased, so many customers come here looking forward to conversations, making this the main booth of the event.

〈Coordination Snap Photo Booth〉

Coordination snap photography by photographer Motonari Takayama has been a popular feature since the first event!

You can have your proud coordination, favorite coordination, or coordination incorporating pieces you got at the venue photographed here.

At the previous Gothic and Lolita Market, due to concerns about infection control, the photo shoot was suspended, so this is the first time for a photo shoot event at Harajuku Quest Hall!!

Since the space is larger than the venue used until the 3rd event, some may have noticed the set is a bit more luxurious... (laughs)

This time as well, the photographed coordinations will be introduced on the coordination snap Twitter account (@GLMsnap01).

From today, two posts per day will be made, so please don't forget to follow so you don't miss them!

Also, a snap book featuring wonderful coordination snaps will be published!!

Scheduled for release within the year, so look forward to further updates!!

This time as well, we implemented infection control measures such as admission restrictions, complete replacement of visitors between the first and second sessions for air exchange, temperature checks, disinfection, mask wearing, and digitization of brochures.

We apologize for the inconvenience to visitors, but thanks to everyone's cooperation, we were able to hold the event safely, and we sincerely thank you.

Although it was held under such circumstances,

there were people who had only done home Lolita before but wore it outside for the first time today!

There were also people who didn't have a single outfit but came to buy their first one today!

Customers who learned about this event through the POPUP, etc.,

We were very happy to have many new customers come.

Also, the thank-you replies to the snap photo sharing emails and the words of gratitude spoken when leaving the venue

made us feel that holding the event was worthwhile and gave us energy for the next time. All the staff thank you.

The next event will be next spring!

And before that, there are many events lined up within the year!! (First public announcement here!)

・November 16 - about 2 weeks: POPUP at Shinjuku Marui Annex

・Early December: Snap photo event at Laforet Harajuku

・Snap book publication within the year

We will announce exhibitor recruitment and event details sequentially on the official Twitter!

We hope the situation improves, and while continuing infection control measures, we will focus on creating an environment where you can enjoy with peace of mind.

We will continue to strive to create a place where everyone can enjoy fashion, so thank you for your support!
