GLMPOPUP4 Shinjuku Marui Annex Event Report

From Tuesday, November 16 to Monday, November 29, 2022, we held the Gothic and Lolita Market POPUP SHOP 3rd for about two weeks.
The POPUP SHOP is a limited-time shop where we consign and sell works from gothic and lolita-style brands.
The shop location was on the 2nd floor of Shinjuku Marui Annex, Calendarrium 3.
It was a long, narrow, and spacious area that made it easy to look around the store!
This time, many clothing brands also participated, so there was more hanger rack space than usual♪
Also, this time, photos and videos of the exhibiting brands were displayed on monitors inside the store!
This floor also houses familiar stores like JaneMarple and MILK,
and almost simultaneously with GLM POP UP 4, there was a limited-time shop for axes femme kawaii × Candy's Market in the adjacent area!!
It was a wonderful space with many customers who love cute things♪
This time, we exhibited with a total of 35 brands!
From gothic to sweet lolita, classic lolita, steampunk, etc., a variety of items lined up, totaling about 2,000 pieces!
Furthermore, since new arrivals were added almost daily during the period, the selection was updated daily♪
The daily visiting events held during the period are valuable opportunities to interact directly with the creators!
Fans of the brands often come specifically on these days♪

The usual Instagram live broadcasts focused on introducing each brand more deeply, limiting the number of brands introduced per day to four for a relaxed presentation!
Many customers who checked the Instagram live came to the store, which was delightful♪
Also, we proposed unique suggestions typical of a select shop, such as daily mixed-brand mannequin coordinates, introducing works loved by staff, and posting coordinates incorporating those items.
This time, since the area was located next to the escalator, many customers came in without knowing it was a lolita fashion store just by seeing the mannequins♪
When we managed to create cute coordinates, there were moments when the staff ended up buying in bulk (laughs).

And this time, as a first attempt, with the cooperation of Flores Astorum, we realized overseas (mainly for the US) online sales!!
Along with this, Connie filmed an English product introduction Instagram live before the store opened, timed to US local time.
We were moved to see real-time comments in English and posts showing the products actually reaching overseas customers...!
Since this event was held during Golden Week, we are truly grateful from the bottom of our hearts for the many customers who visited.
The next POPUP will be held from August 20 to September 2 on the B0.5 floor of Laforet Harajuku!
The lineup of brands and works will change, and we believe it will be another wonderful store, so please come by.
