12th Gothic and Lolita Market Event Report
The 12th Gothic and Lolita Market was held on April 5-6, 2025 at WITH HARAJUKU HALL!
The Gothic and Lolita Market (commonly known as GosLoli Market) is an exhibition and sales event & coordinate snap event where all genres of Gothic and Lolita gather.
Held twice a year in spring and autumn, more than 200 gothic and Lolita brands and over 2,000 enthusiasts gather at the sacred place, Harajuku.
This time as well, there were many customers not only from within Japan but also from abroad, and according to the survey at the time of ticket purchase, visitors came from various countries such as the United States, China, South Korea, Australia, Ireland, Finland, Canada, the United Kingdom… etc. Truly from many different countries.
Direct sales booth
The main area of this event is the direct sales booth!
About 150 brands line up over two days.
Above all, the charm of this booth is that you can talk directly with the owners and creators of each brand.
This time, there were about 30 new brands exhibiting for the first time, so we will pick some to introduce.
"DarkLife (Dark Life)"
This is an original brand proposing dark fashion that mixes elements of Goth, Mode, and Fetish.
An accessory brand with a delicate, sugar candy-like fragility that is adorable.
The artist, who has loved color mixing and matching since childhood, has many fans among Lolita fashion enthusiasts and handmade artists. They have also received happy requests to "Please exhibit at GLM again!"
The ribbon HOLIC series, considered a representative work, features ribbons with a natural texture made without molds. Each piece is carefully shaped with fluffy ribbons, carved lace, and crafted to be as thin as possible. The artist’s dedication and daily production to ensure customers can choose their pieces until the event ends, avoiding sellouts, might be the biggest charm loved by many.
A brand of genuine leather accessories and stationery featuring original illustrations of cute animals painted or printed by an animal-loving artist.
Designed to match Lolita fashion, the accessories combining teddy bears, cats, bunnies, and gothic motifs are wonderful. They are also praised for their gentle pastel-colored illustrations and genuine leather, making them long-lasting favorites.
The 2-way brooch & bag charm is a delightful item that can become 3-way by adding a necklace chain. When not in use, it’s also recommended to display it in your room.
According to the artist, "I would be happy if people think 'cute!' at first glance." Both the works and the booth are very cute!
Vivid and colorful headdresses and hair accessories are incredibly happy!
For those looking for items that won’t overlap with others, this brand is also recommended for Decora style.
The headdress, full of cute materials like ribbons, bijoux, and beads, has a delightful feature where motifs like the little chicks on both sides can be removed. Additionally, it comes with a brooch pin and clip, allowing you to attach the motifs to your clothes or hair.
The artist's recommended new work, the “Mermaid Tail Hair Clip,” features sparkling mermaids in a variety of colors adorned with marine motifs. It's also surprising that accessories can be purchased for no more than 1,500 yen!
Regarding the design, the artist says, "The concept comes to mind, and I create it with my sensibility. I want those who want to stand out, take risks, or become a different self than usual to feel excited." The artist's sense shines through the works, and the excitement never stops...!
They create cute headdresses with laced ribbons, sleeve holders, and accessories. The artist has been making doll clothes for about 10 years, and the sewing of the headdresses is beautiful. The recommended new item is the "Swaying Strawberry Headdress," which comes with resin parts of strawberries and leaves, swaying with every step, perfect for spring.
The artist, who also looks great in Lolita fashion, said, "I love lace-up ribbons, and depending on the design, I change how I attach frills, such as box pleats or gathers. Many customers are new to Lolita fashion and headdresses, so I hope they can use them casually."
The shopping scenes of customers seriously choosing headdresses were also wonderful.
Consignment Sales Booth
At the consignment sales booth, GLM sells works on behalf of creators who live far away or are too busy to participate.
Many brands whose works are usually hard to get your hands on, everyone is very interested!
From this time, many tabletop mirrors were also installed to make it easier for customers to try on items.
Now, let me introduce some brands making their debut this time.
「Me:Alice」
Many were enchanted by Me:Alice's works in a booth like Alice's flower garden, featuring fabric flower accessories made by dyeing white cloth.
The striking "Grape Classical Cocktail Hat" has grapes handmade and hand-dyed one by one. The natural gradient from green to purple is beautiful.
The necklace "Alice's Mysterious Key," featuring roses from "Alice in Wonderland," is a fantastic piece with a large rose blooming from a big key. Other accessories featuring spring flowers like cherry blossoms and violets, as well as vividly colored cherries, catch the eye.
The artist said, "I was particular about the color and fabric choice when dyeing the cloth. The veins on the petals are expressed by applying a heated tool. I hope you come to appreciate the charm of fabric flowers." The delicate fabric flower works that convey the artist's feelings are also popular in online sales.

Also, most of the products handled at this booth are available for sale on this site from 4/6 (Sun) 21:00 to 4/19 (Sat) 23:59.
Since the online POPUP allows international shipping, we also streamed an Instagram live in English introducing the products so that people living outside Japan could enjoy the atmosphere and shop.

Coord Snap Photo Booth
The GLM coordinate snap photo booth, where many people look forward to coordinating their outfits for the shoot. Amazingly, 166 people participated over two days!
